Revised and consolidated ordinances of Logan City, 1886-1899.

The first part of this handwritten record contains the consolidated, revised ordinances of Logan, Utah, signed by Robert S. Campbell, Mayor, and attested by P.W. Maughan, City Recorder in 1886. Pages 118-294 deal with additional or further revisions of ordinances from Oct. 1886 to Dec. 1899. The ordinances deal with licenses, water ways, railroads, offices, vehicles, taxes, nuisances, drugs and medication, crimes and punishments, concealed weapons, salaries of city officials, water rights, franchise grants, city power, and speed limits. The later revisions are signed mostly by the mayors, Arron F. Farr, Jr., James Quayle, and I.D. Haines.
